Woodside Youth Program Overview

YOUTH MEMBERSHIP OPTION

Woodside allows youth members ages 11-20 to work out in the Studios facility. This privilege is available as an add-on (minimal monthly fee) to a Single  Membership. A complimentary fitness orientation is available for youth members.

A Woodside certified personal trainer will cover the following: equipment review, discussion of club policies and procedures, lecture on strength training and stretching, cardio and floor etiquette and age restrictions and suggestions on certain equipment. Group fitness classes in the Studios facility are available for members 16 and older. 

JUNIOR TENNIS PROGRAM 

Whether in a Tiny Tots clinic at age 3, a private lesson at age 10, or as a teenager in our Woodside Tennis Academy, our tennis professionals at Woodside begin to shape in your child a love for the game. Our tennis instructors use fun and exciting techniques to help our young players fully enjoy learning the fundamentals of the game while developing skills. 

KID’S YOGA

Woodside offers youth-focused yoga programs throughout the year. Yoga creates a healthy foundation for health and fitness while developing vital skills in concentration and focus – plus, it’s fun! Our kid’s yoga instructors incorporate age-appropriate games and practices to help teach yoga poses and build skills while letting kids be kids. 

YOUTH SPORTS CONDITIONING

Developed as a way to keep young athletes conditioned through the summer months, prepare for fall sports, and develop a foundation of health and fitness. Led by specially-certified Woodside Personal Trainers, each one-hour training session is focused on teaching proper form and mechanics while improving athletic skills. 

WOODSIDE WAVES SWIM TEAM

A tradition for 30 years, the Woodside Waves Swim Team meets for six weeks each summer for practices, meets, and socials. Swimmers age 5-18 work on their strokes and techniques in order to represent the Waves in competitions against other metro-area teams.
