Testing
Maximize your efforts by taking advantage of our comprehensive new health and fitness evaluations. Using the most advanced health and fitness testing methods available, we can identify issues before they become problems. And solutions that will help you get more out of your workout – and your life.

Health Fitness Evaluation - $50
This individual consultation includes a full health-risk appraisal and body measurements, including height, weight, heart rate, blood pressure, circumference measurements, body composition and a basic biomechanical analysis. Results will be compiled into a personal profile and will include a lifestyle prescription with recommendations to promote your sustained wellness.

Body Composition Analysis - $35
Body composition and high levels of body fat are risk factors for many chronic conditions such as heart disease and diabetes. This test uses a non-invasive device that passes a battery-generated signal through the body to measure your body fat percentage, total fat weight, lean body mass, total body water, basal metabolic rate and body mass index. This analysis helps track progress and predict future disease risk.

Basic Biomechanical Analysis - $50
The assessment tool “Body Map” uses cutting-edge anatomical and biomechanical software to help detect muscle imbalances and mobility impairments. This state-of-the-art design tool will improve the way you train. Whether your goal is to lose fat, decrease pain or increase performance, this analysis helps you reach your goal quickly, safely and effectively. You leave with corrective strategies that include flexibility, posture and functional strength. The computer designs a customized program using your personal information and digital images.

Advanced Biomechanical Analysis - $100
This examination combines several forms of advanced biomechanical testing to assess your level of performance and function. Performed by one of our onsite physicians, the testing begins with a postural assessment that identifies structural deviations that relate to specific muscular imbalances. That is followed by an isolated joint mobility and stability assessment that carefully reviews active range of joint motion. Used in conjunction with manual muscle testing, this information helps identify specific muscular inhibition and weakness. The evaluation ends with a functional movement screen. From this analysis, we can develop the most comprehensive, personalized rehabilitation, training and conditioning program available.

Cardiovascular VO2 Testing - $75
VO2 testing represents the standard for assessing cardiovascular fitness levels. This test measures the amount of oxygen your body consumes during exercise. To have a high VO2 max a person must have a fit heart and lungs that are well conditioned. This test will also show the anaerobic threshold, the level of exercise intensity at which the body can no longer supply adequate oxygen to the muscles. Exercise below this threshold should be comfortable even though it lasts for long periods of time. Exercise above this threshold will improve cardiovascular fitness, but will create discomfort and fatigue. Knowing the anaerobic threshold helps us design a workout plan that will improve your cardiovascular fitness and maximize calories burned.

Metabolic Rate Testing - $40
Metabolic rate (or metabolism) is the pace at which the body expends energy. This is also referred to as the “caloric burn rate.” Knowing metabolic rate is vital for weight loss as well as determining the proper caloric amounts to treat various disease states. The key to weight loss is to burn more calories than you consume. By knowing exactly how many calories are needed to sustain body function, you can best determine the exact amount of calories to burn through diet and exercise to meet your weight-loss goals.

Basic Blood-Chemistry Analysis - $35
Using just a small drop of blood from a finger stick and an advanced LDX analyzer, we can deliver rapid, accurate results for total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, glucose, liver enzymes and a highly sensitive C-reactive protein, which is an inflammatory marker for cardiac disease. This assessment is an invaluable tool in the prevention and management of such chronic conditions as heart disease, diabetes or a metabolic syndrome. The information from this test can and should be used in an overall lifestyle management program to track progress.

Dietary Analysis - $45+
Maintaining a well-rounded, nutritional diet can be challenging. Busy lifestyles, confusing information about food, and poor eating habits can make leading a healthy lifestyle extremely difficult. Through individual counseling our nationally registered dietician will provide a dietary analysis and eating plan that will help you adopt lifelong eating habits. Our dietician will provide more than just information, but real-life strategies including menu planning, shopping and supplementation options.
