To be a Woodside trainer, one has to be well trained. Our trainers hold at least a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and all of them are certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Individual trainers may also hold specialty certification in specific areas of fitness that are emphasized through Woodside Training Institute (WTI) coursework - creating highly specialized, knowledgeable professionals.
WTI Training Modalities
These professionals are experts in all aspects of athletic training – including speed, agility, strength and power – and are capable of taking even the seasoned athlete to a new level of performance.
These professionals are equipped with the advanced knowledge needed to aid clients who are suffering from musculoskeletal impairments, imbalances or post-rehab concerns. They focus on helping and preventing instability issues, back and joint pain and posture issues as well as post-surgery injuries.
These professionals are trained to recognize the psychological aspects of behavioral change, weight management and exercise – from correcting bad eating habits and exercise patterns by uncovering their causes to designing specialized programming for those with cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, Type 2 diabetes and a variety of orthopedic issues.
