Woodside Tennis Academy is the longest running and most successful academy in the Kansas City area, having produced over one hundred state qualifiers and more than 23 state champions for the past 18 years in Missouri, Kansas, and Iowa. We offer year-round training with an emphasis on specialized technical, tactical, situational and mental toughness through live and dead ball drilling. Woodside Tennis Academy encourages an open stream of communication between players, coaches, and parents as well as interaction with collegiate coaches. To ready players for intense competition, we tailor training to USTA National, Missouri Valley, and Heart of America Tournaments.

College Prep
$500 per session or $165 per week

Clinic Days: Tues & Thurs 4:00pm - 6:30pm

Eligibility based on the most current Missouri Valley Standing List where they are currently top 150. This player wants to play college tennis and wants to work towards a college scholarship as well as participating in sanctioned USTA tournament events, Missouri Valley and Heart of America. 


$300 per session 
Clinic Days: Mon & Wed 5:00pm - 6:30pm
Player eligibility is based upon a desire to play the Heart of America USTA sanctioned tournament events.  


ACADEMY Green Ball

$150 per session 

Clinic Days: Fri 4:30pm - 6:00pm

Eligibility based upon a desire to play the Heart of America USTA sanctioned tournament events - Challenger level. This player is playing KCJTL and USTA JTT.



$150 per session

Clinic Days: Mon 5:00pm - 6:30pm 

These players are participating in the KCJTL 10U division/orange ball division and USTA JTT. These players are working on technique, control, and consistency as well as gain confidence in match play.

All academy players will participate in the indoor season of USTA JTT. There will be 10/under, 12/under, and High School divisions. Teams will consist of three boys and three girls. Play will be singles, doubles, and mixed doubles. Matches will be played at Woodside and area clubs on Saturday afternoons. Woodside Tennis professional staff will be present for matches to help coach and manage players.
